Landing a Q with nocturne should make his Ult more rewarding.

Hey guys i just wanna get some feedback on this idea. So when Nocturne lands a Q on someone the target(s) get infected with the black dust which follows them and you can see them in the fog of war. However i feel like this whole concept is lacking due to the fact that the enemies can still escape through the fog of war if nocturne lacks the vision ( ex. ward or scrying orb) when he tries to use ult as a finisher. I feel like the embodiment of darkness and nightmares should be rewarded for landing the skill shot by granting vision to the targets who are struck by his Q, when he ults.Nocturne I feel like this will give nocturne just a slight boost in his assassination potential during the game and I feel like he should have always had this mechanic but i just wanna see what you guys think.

I personally think adding the ability to pass through terrain with your Q, would make him god tier counter Jungler and adds to him thematically.

As far as his Ult goes it doesn't make sense to "want" to hit a Q which is like 800 range....BEFORE your 2500 range Ulti, on paper it sounds absolutely retarded and is Polar to what you actually want from this champ.

the main idea with this added feature isnt supposed to make him wanna hit a champion with his q before ulting. Its main purpose would be to chase down a champion who was hit by duskbringer with low hp ( for example someone flashing over a wall where there is no vision) so nocturne could finish the champion off.

doesnt he get 60 ad on the black gunk? seems to me like it is rewarding in that it buffs the damage on his ult that scales with ad.

however i can agree that his ult should have largely more impact on a target that got hit by his q, than using it by itself. seems like a good point to balance the champion and make his ult impactful in teamfights and engagements (ganks) at medium range while nerfing it for ganks at very long range down the river.

one of the biggest problems at balancing the champion and the inability to buff the range on the ult is his role as a jungler, when he can just drop into your lane past your wards at any time when he hits 6. (the situation with release nocturne)

a strong nocturne creates the same problems as a strong eve.

however tieing his kill potential for his abilities to his q means he could still use his ult to disorient the enemy team in engagements, and drop into a lane from a considerable distance. the difference being he would have considerable less up front impact.

basically making him make a choice between kill potential vs. utility. if he really wants to go in on a target and kill it, he has to land his q at medium range before he ults. that makes his ganks from long distance where you cant anticipate them less threatening than the ones you can ward against.
