Can nocturne have the ability to see people who are hit with his Q when he ults

So imagine you are chasing someone down as nocturne after you hit someone with Q and the trail of the duskbringer is still on them, and then they flash over a wall where you cannot see them. So when you pop your ult as long as the Q passive is still on them you can see them through the fog of war when you ult so you can continue chasing after them. I feel like this should be a spooky passive nocturne should have.
