Loss Reduction in Ranked

I'm sure we're all tired of playing a ranked game and someone leaves or goes afk and having to pay the price.

I've lost enough games with people leaving that I'm pretty much stuck in the same rank, and might be for a while.

I'm thinking that Riot should implement a Loss Reduction program that reduces the amount of LP we lose by a percentage or fraction if someone leaves the game and here's my idea of how it might work assuming you would normally lose 20 LP:

1 person leaves the game: 3/20 of LP (3 would be reduced) - 17 2 people leave the game: 2/17 of 17 LP (this comes from the first factor) - 15 3 people leave the game: 1/15 of 15 (comes from 2nd factor) 14

And i'm sure that should help just enough for those who play with others that leave and/or go afk and leave us to our doom.
