Uh, riot is your matchmaking ok? (Bronze 5 in platinum elo games)
Didn't you guys say you had a system so bronze can play with silvers; but not golds, plats, etc in ranked soloq?

Why there a bronze 5 in plat elo?
To explain a bit more elaborately, I was in champ select with this guy hovering nami top lane, and they just said "trust in the nami top, don't ask questions." One of the team members looked up their OP.gg said "63% winrate, i trust", so I went to see for myself, and noticed a bronze 5 medal... with silver in season 5 and bronze in season 6. I asked the team how that's even possible, then somebody dodged.
I even checked their profile on the client just to see if OP.gg is borked, and they're actually Bronze 5 and the games in match history match OP.gg's
I'm genuinely concerned why this is allowed, I get MMR plays a big part in this but the rule riot has set is that X rank cannot under any condition play with X rank to prevent those bronze + challenger duos, and apparently that doesn't work if their MMR is high enough.
So how does the matchmaking system REALLY work? Does that rule only apply to duoQs?
(also anybody wanna talk about the bronze 5 0LP gold 1 MMR?)
