Need a Rioters thoughts on the direction of LB atm

Despite gutting her W she is STILL a strong pick in competitive due to her waveclear and split pushing. Do the people behind the assassin rework or working on balance really want LB to be such a safe assassin who just pokes with Q and split pushes? This gameplay is super boring for both the LB player and to play against. I want to know where the direction they are even taking her is and if her current state is anywhere near that. Would be interesting too see some rioter shed some light on LB as it feels like there is 0 communication on her direction outside of "wait for midseason."
