I wonder why they haven't simply followed the new Keystone system with higher base HP for every champ in the game. I miss the long teamfights and even having the option to build certain champions in a more tanky direction. Offtank
was very much a thing prior to the patch. Sure, you lost a lot of damage and utility, but could really wade into fights and position for optimal Q stuns. Now, unless you're an innately tanky champion building tank items has nearly zero impact on keeping you alive longer in this high burst meta. I suspect it's partly mpen/lethality, but the results are clear.
