Something to keep in mind that will reduce your anger in games. :P

Theres a few things you should keep in mind in every game. Because lets face it we all get tunnelvisioned. Even i often get that feeling of powerlessness, inadequacy etc when you keep seeing the 'an ally has been slain's pop up or when your lanemate keeps getting the harass on him without any reason and ends up low hp before you need to do the plays.

Heres the gist of it: Every single kill you or a teammate make the enemy team is likely to start raging in chat as much as you or your teammates are likely to do the same when you or they get killed. Both teams are equally likely to bitch at eachother. So if you do not, thats one less factor against your own morale.

Heres a video of someone you all know playing in silver with his challenger vayne. Now i dont want you to look at his 'super cule plays of maximum skill' no. I want you to look at the chat and start to think hard on what it means to the game. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-7NeVfjMzeo Ill explain it shortly; vayne simply outplays bot (no wonder, but that aside), what happens first is bot is emediately blamed by its own team walloping in self pity declaring bot trolls or feeders "they did the same thing last game" is even said to strenghten this established idea that one team must have trolls to lose.

Then the whole enemy team starts to fight eachother in ALL CHAT, as if they need to prove that 'they are good players but it was just bot', as if their ego is so hurt just because bot lost.

Now let me give an example of one of my own games and how i handled something actually legit unbalancing, we had an afk mid all game. I was top with yorick duoing with a friend of mine who was shen support bot. Since our mid was afk since start our jungler went mid subpar, obviously he didnt have the right summoners nor runes to deal with mid and thats fine. He still ended with a decent game of 5/3 in lane (lee sin, doh) Our adc died all over the place pretty much and though i was first winning my lane before long i had to deal with 3 top, i didnt even use my ult i couldnt do anything anyway at the top turret where i was alone. Now about 2-3 years ago i wouldve probably flipped out and started a blame game there to atleast declare that i wasnt bad (as if that matters to randoms at all, but we seem to mind it) to die there. Its like psychologically we want to ensure that 'the team thinks highly of us' wich is absurd when you think about it, its an ego thing. Instead i didnt say a word, didnt feel a thing. I just knew i couldve done nothing and it really didnt matter. It was just a game i took as 'a nice lanephase training with yorick' lol. After the game my qeuepartner also just stated 'we had afk lol' instead of going apeshit about how all the bad luck in the universe had slapped us in the face to ruin our lifes and our day like most players seem to do after one of those games, riled up to do the same to others. You know how toxicity spreads.

In the end its about whats really relevant, is it really that relevant that you are considered the top of the monkey rock in every one of your games? And that everything that sabotages this has to be emediately fought out in all chat so that everyone will know that atleast you have the best score of your team, you are the unlucky one who cant climb regardless of skill or you did the most damage in stats.

Because truly, noone but you cares about that, everyone is so self absorbed as you are, unless they arent and start to see the game for what it is; micro-developement.

Myabe it was better if there wasnt a kda system in this game, atleast then people would care less about their status then.

Anyway, i hope you guys learned something with that video, how people can start fighting themselves and calling eachother trolls over literally nothing more than just someone having been outplayed. Wich happens EVERY SINGLE MATCH. I guarantee that 9/10 matches where some teammate is called a troll is just him being outplayed. Someone has to win the lane, and you cant guarantee its your team that does. But you can guarantee that you take it better than the other team might.
