Kayle and Runaan's Hurricane

I was currently playing Yasuo mid against a Kayle and I found something that is very peculiar. If Runaan's Hurricane considers Kayle's E (when activated) to be a ranged attack then why doesn't Yasuo's wind wall block her auto attacks? Although while the actual Runaan's Hurricane arrows are actually blocked by Yasuo's wind wall I feel as though her auto's should be blocked by the wind wall as well. I mean if Runaan's Hurricane considers Kayle's E (when activated) to be a ranged attack I feel as though Yasuo's wind wall should definitely block her auto attacks. Let me know how you guys feel if this should be changed or not.
