My Thoughts on Reverted Leblanc
NOTE: If you think I'm wrong here, tell me why. I'd love to hear somebody else's thoughts on this.
Leblanc as she currently is is a problem. Much has changed since the last time she got to be the instakill machine she is now. The counterplay to leblanc last time she was like this was to try to shove her out of lane. With the jungle how it is now that strategy is moronic. You will be ganked and ganked until one succeeds. It's the reason why the meta is safe mages who can easily clear a wave from under tower. This means you have lost agency over midlane the second your opponent locks leblanc in. I will not suggest to nerf her QR combo, even though I despise it. It's not what makes her nearly impossible to play against (in the hands of anyone REMOTELY competent). The problem is that there is no safe time to try and fight back. She dashes in, shoots her combo in well under a second, blinks back out. Needs a lockout time on her blink return so you can actually trade with her. Her trade pattern is reliable since the majority of her damage isn't avoidable anyway. You need to be given an option that lets you trade in return if she engages at the wrong moment.
Her chains hitbox could also probably take a hit, but the lockout time on blink should do plenty. They did it to zed a while back. Should do it here.
, but I can agree with a lock out on distortion being ~2 seconds. This lets her do mostly what I love but not be so safe from trades(esp against melee) while doing it. (It would also stop my fat fingering myself back out of fights before doing my damage)
or
in that you can crush them in lane, then they disappear into the fog for a minute and come back 6 kills up and a whole item ahead of you.
