I just need to ask this about the new normal draft mode

How long are people usually waiting to play this mode when not playing ranked? I literally have 20 minute queues at a minimum if I'm trying to play solo (I do ADC/Mid usually) Then I go over to ranked and I'm guaranteed to get a queue within the first 2 minutes O_O (I'm plat 2). Is this something that occurs as you go higher up the ladder or is it something else? I literally have no idea why these normal queues are so long in comparison to the queues in ranked. (It's not a thing of when I play either, this is literally just how it is whenever I try to play normal)
