Honest Question >Draven<

This is a question I'm actually asking for someone to shed some light on the topic. Background: Been playing since Season 3 and been Gold for a number of seasons.

Why does Draven have an insane early game, mid game, and late game? Granted you could say his Mid game is a bit weak, but my question stands. Isn't he supposed to just carry early game and then fall off like he used to in season 3 and early-ish season 4? Yeah, he had some time when he was garbage, nerf/buff cylce I get that. But for the last three seasons pretty consistently in gold/plat elo it seems he never has a point in which he's weak. I completely understand he's 100% a carry champion, and in fact I've played him quite a bit for myself with much success. He's fun and he does the damages. But it seems the only time he's weak is if he's garbo, or if he doesn't have a team (just like any carry, whether it's top, mid, jungle, or bot). So what's actually his weakness on someone who actually knows what he's doing? And don't say CC cause obviously that's every champions' counter, or say "focus him" because I understand those concepts.

EDIT: I realize the game that I'm referring to was a Diamond+ smurf. Dang, I woulda carried that game otherwise.

Thanks

Much love -Ace

He is overpowered.

Because the game is centered entirely around him and him alone, so he should be good at every parts of it.

Pretty sure his late game is actually kinda butt by adc standards, it's just his passive lets him reach his personal late game well before the game on the whole goes late.
