Seen a lot of overly complicated aatrox change ideas

I'm a p1 aatrox main (previously d5 but got demoted recently I know that doesn't make me an expert but there are not too many higher people who play aatrox) and just want to say that people are looking way to hard into changing aatrox's whole kit and overbuffing his feast or famine playstyle instead of rounding him out by fixing a couple things that just make him feel lousy (while ahead or behind).

Personally from experience I think that this is all he needs to be viable:

-Making the first half of the Q where he goes up uninteruptable would probably fix most Q problems without making the ability unfair. -If they want to keep him squishy and vulnerable to offset his damage+revive then a cleanse on ult activation like alistar's would go a long way to make him feel better to use and not instantly blow up without adding any extra power. -If they want to make tanktrox viable then health costs needs to be changed because currently about 3 items in you lose an entire item's worth of hp using a single combo and you don't heal enough building tank to offset the cost.

I don't believe he needs to be pushed to the side until riot can rework him and would appreciate at least attempting something small such as this on pbe before more drastic measures.

Let me know what you think, thanks.

Honestly, the fact that dealing with Aatrox is so hard and scary for Riot says a lot about their competence and the kind of people they hire. There are a million ways to make him awesome.

Like you said, his dive needs to be fixed--it has a super long cool down, and a very small impact area. He is behind when it comes to the point and click engages that many other champions enjoy. And of course literally everything interrupts it. Ground based CC should not effect him in flight, at the very least.

His ult is underwhelming--its basically attack speed. Since he is pulling blood out of his enemies to fill his bloodwell when he ults, it should pull every enemy champion effected towards him, like Diana does. He needs a little more usefulness in team fights. Ditch the AOE magic damage and let his ult also heal him for x amount per enemy champion hit....and eany health beyond his max HP is distributed to allies nearby

His bloodwell should provide a bonus when full. For example, a full bloodwell could provide say, a CC immune Dark Flight--so if you dive into Gragas who does a body slam, instead of you being knocked back and your dive interrupted, his body slam doesnt affect you and YOU get to knock him up with your dive.
