Can soraka play any lanes besides support? What build would you use in XYZ Lane

Back then before her rework she could Top/Mid. Right now, she's pretty decent Mid Lane.

The following list of nerfs make it harder to play her in other lanes:

1. They reduced the range on her Q.
2. They removed the 150% damage bonus when hitting a target in the center of her Q.
3. They changed her Q self healing to become a heal over time (which, trust me, hurts her ability to stay alive in situations where you have 50 health and needed that extra 100+ health to stay alive when bursted.)
4. I believe she can no longer heal minions. So she can't push as well as she used to. (Also see 1) for pushing reasons)

The buffs they gave her are as follows:

1. Her Q now slows any target it hits by 40% for 3 seconds. (Reduced to 30% for 2 seconds, so it got nerfed anyway.)
2. The cool down on her Q was reduced to 5 seconds at all ranks.
3. the mana costs on her Q was reduced to 40+5 per rank.

Honestly, I don't see a reason to play her anymore. Her safety isn't very good when her HoT feels horrible and her Q no longer has the range it used to. But that's just my opinion.

You can play her however you want if you can make it work.

I tried her in mod sometimes, but just un normal.. And before her last Q nerf. Did something like sorc, ludens,raba, void, zhonya ( she didn't need mana item right after the changes). I had cdr runes. I had no problem in lane as I outsustained my opponent and late game my pick was so nice in a "protect the kog " teamcomp paired with a Janna support

You can still play her as an ap mid laner, just make sure you have another damage source on your team other than your adc, as she doesn't even do half the damage of a regular mid laner even with a full ap build. Build is like this:
