New system for AFKs

Ok, I have a idea for league and I want your opinion on it, good or bad and why, AFK is a bad thing, but how to get rid of it ? I might have a solution for this. You could make something called "Baton Pass", a category, Team-Builder style, but the player would take place of an AFK player (AFK for maybe 5min). And maybe when someone has to quit a game, so he knows that he will be AFK, but don't want to hurt his teammates, he would be able to quit, but call a ''Baton Pass'' ( pokémon reference ) to pass he's game to another player. I don't know if am clear, but if you guys could give me a feedback from this, I would be very happy !

Excuse me if I'm getting this wrong, but from what I understand you queue up for a 'Baton Pass' queue, and it searches for people in-game who need to get off, and have you fill in their place? So you basically get a random player to fill in your spot? It sounds interesting, but it's open to a lot of abuse like people getting behind in lane and then quitting, therefore burdening someone else with having to play uphill whilst they go off to do something else for 30 mins or so. You'd also need to think how it would work in terms of people swapping into games as champions that they don't own, etc.

Yeah, you could queue up for a Baton Pass or maybe you could get some notifications like : hey, wanna fill the game ? This is a random though that I got and if you think of something better, I'm very open to new suggestions about this. I like the idea of helping people, but yeah, when you take the place of someone who's score is 0/8/0, that's pretty meh, but hey, this will be for people who want to make some fun and knowing that they have less chance of winning i guess.
