Is this common knowledge or am I asking too much?

When your lanes are being pushed to their respective turrets, this would be an easy gank for a Jungle right? Or obvious gank opportunity.. right?

I aks because, I have had multiple recent games where jg replies "It's not my jewb to win your lane"... It's like, I thought this was a team game? And if you let a winning lane for the opposing team continue to dominate, don't be surprised when they DOMINATE out of lane too!!

I am in Silver but too me, even Jungles in bronze seemed to gank when I say 'Hey we have been pushed up to turret for a good minute now, gank?' they don't respond with 'It's not my job to win your lane'... Usually, it's a direct I'm on the way ping.. whereas motherfuckers in silver go.. 'Ight let me get red buff' then proceeds to forget about ganking or 'ganks' by walking in the lane, throw a spell, take minions, leave!

I know Bronze=silver... But fuck it, the jungle ACTUALLY listened!

depends on a variety of factors, being pushed up wont always mean gankable:

  • if you (the laner) are too low, then they'll just turn and kill you.
  • if the enemy laner is already fed, then they can just 1v2.
  • if the enemy jungler is nearby and your slightly weaker, both you and your allied jungler will probably die
  • if the enemy is too mobile (Leblanc Gnar Fizz ) or has instant disengage (Janna Veigar Zyra ) then its a waste of time
  • if the enemy minion wave has 4+ caster minions, they can be considered an extra champion once the fighting starts (so their damage has to be considered)

I can see both sides of the argument. In the jungler's defense, I've seen in our elo (silver 4 here) when I gank a pushed up lane that the ADC will not follow up because they're too focused on CS and won't help. It really depends on a lot of factors.

wave position is only one factor out of many

there's also kill potential (cc, damage, health, summoners, and mobility of all 3 champs needs to be considered), enemy jungle position/counter gank potential, level difference, gold difference, camp spawn times, vision..

No point ganking for a laner if: -ganking for that person doesnt get them ahead. Have ganked for people 5 times and they still lose lane. -ganking for that person gets you both killed -ganking for that person doesnt help the team at all. If you cant carry, you are last gank priority -that person cant CS, rune/build/skillup properly or just super trash so ganking for them doesnt do anything when they'll go back to losing lane as soon as I leave -if they have a really bad matchup and they'll need constant babysitting just to stay even

Looking at your shit builds, runes, skilllups and low performance many of the above applies to you especially considering you "main" MF yet totally clueless w every aspect of her. A lot of times in loading screen I'll look up my allies to see who deserves the most attention to most likely carry

If your teammate is pushed up against their turret, but they have a giant wave at their turret, then you shouldn't gank. You are more likely to die considering the minions might turn on you and kill you and if the gank fails, then your laner just lost a ton of gold to the turret.

It's not just Silver it also happens in my Plat games.

Typical JGL responses: LOL you are trash/It's not my job to win your lane? (Proceeds to krugs while teemo is about to tower dive with ignite) toxic muted

AND the most seen/most typical the no reply and still doesn't go near your lane and if they do they just take your cannon wave then leave.

This is not true. I can get out of Bronze in a couple weeks. First time I did it, it only took like 3 to 4 months to figure out how. Two years and thousands of games later I'm no closer to getting out of Silver since the first time I got there 2 years ago. Silver is a completely different class from Bronze.

It is not the jungler's job to win your lane, no matter the situation. If he doesn't want to gank you and instead use his time for other purposes such as ganking another lane, objectives, counterjungling or even farming his own jungle then deal with it. You are not entitled to ganks, it's the jungler's decision what to do with his time. If he doesn't want to gank your lane, then deal with it.

You see Kill potiental in alot of these posts but damageing the enemy and forceing them to recall can allow your ally to farm freely and get back in the game not to mention dont act like you dont come and tax 3 waves on failed ganks as jungle

if your a good jg yea you wana gank wen they are after turret its the best time imo cuz they have to out run u which never happens

The Deckowner6/6/2018, 5:19:03 AM1 votes

passive-aggressively asking your jungler for ganks often times just makes them less likely to gank you.

I am in gold 5 and the most competent teammates I have ever had were in bronze 2.

It should be common knowledge. But people are defensive and stubborn.

hi ìm groot6/5/2018, 11:17:54 PM1 votes

This is obviously not a simple yes or no situation. But lane control is a factor. If they are able to push the wave onto the tower and then back off, ganking that lane can end really badly. The laner then has to travel from the tower through the wave to cover a greater distance because the opposing laner doesnt need to be as close, and if the gank doesnt succeed, then all of those minions just died to tower for nothing. You want to be able to freeze the wave near your tower without it being under tower so the other lane still needs to move up to cs.

Skeletons Grave6/5/2018, 11:21:40 PM1 votes

lets be real. Most junglers are really bad at doing there job. You always know the good ones because they get themselves and there team fed. But most junglers only think about themselves.

You know how to tell if your jungler is good? check if they ganked somewhere lv 3 and if they set up to tower dive low hp enemies. Most bad junglers dont even consider tower diving because they are too trash to pull it off.

OtterlyLost6/6/2018, 12:42:28 AM1 votes

No, that's pretty much the description of every jungler I've had in the last 20 games. They're useless potatoes who see a shoved or shoving lane and don't do anything with it. I can have sat under my turret for the first seven minutes of the game, no deaths, just desperately trying to farm and my jungler will ignore the lane. And then when I die, he wants to blame me completely for dying; not the fact that he wasn't intelligent enough to relieve pressure on a lane that was clearly getting pressured. A fact that the enemy jungler noticed and likely helped tower dive to get that first kill. But whatever, dude. Clearly wolves on the opposite side of the map are more important. :/

I could understand if it was seven minutes in and I was 0/3. But I'm not. I'm literally sitting under turret as 0/0/0 and slowly losing out on CS instead because I can't walk up without getting poked out.
