Whats up with the long wait these days?

I wited 30 mins for a match up and got none ... is this a server issue? I am sure more than 1000 players queue up each second, why would it take 30 mins? I even tried filling" but the results are the same. Filling should get you an instant champ select window right? :(

Riot slowly killed queue time with people not wanting dynamic queue, and no one wanting to play support.

I normally do, if I duo its normally a 2-3 minute wait, solo (except support) 10 minute wait.
