S6 Platinum 3 with a high MMR - Go 8-2 in Placements - Get Placed in S5...What gives?

I was Platinum 3 last season. My MMR was very high, getting 24-25 per win. I go 8-2 in my placement matches and they place me in Silver 5...One level above bronze...What gives? Is it just me or have they really screwed up the placement system?
