Normal Game MMR Balancing

So, I am a casual gamer and I don’t really play ranked anymore for reasons unrelated to this post. I honestly feel that the way MMR is balanced isn’t fair for the people on the lower end of the ranked spectrum. So, in recent games I have been matched against people playing at Low Platinum levels, or even exactly showing at that ranking when they aren’t new accounts. I understand that people will intentionally not play Normals to be placed against people at a lower rank to Thanos snap them, but I feel that’s extremely unfair, and not really able to be countered.

Here’s why I feel this way: they will have a High Gold player, or maybe two, on the opposing team to balance this. If this High Elo player is matched against a Silver, or Bronze, there is a large skill advantage, and basically gives them a huge lead, and as we all know, when specific champions get a lead, they are unstoppable.

As much as I would like to say this isn’t really a common occurrence, well, I can’t. It happens very frequently, and it really drives me away from even playing that game, because once I see that later die even just twice, I know the game is over.

I understand that there are reasons why it is balanced this way, but from I understand, most people don’t really like being ROFL stomped and prefer an even chance of winning the game.
