Matchmaking. Where I feel there is a problem. Anyone else agree?

Now I know you always get those people that bitch about playing against players that are by far a higher tier on the ranked system than they are to the other players to make them seem like they are doing something wrong but I'm not making an argument to that end. I feel like we have a problem with the matchmaking now. The dynamic and Duo que where it brings a plat player down to a Bronze/Silver game because their pal is at that ranked tier. That is neither players fault that they get matched in a game like that. I feel like there is a problem there in the matchmaking. and it doesn't really go off of MMR either cause in a game i just played everyone on one team was around 1300 mmr while the other had either 1300-1600. Where do we go from here to fix this?
