Jungle Nasus, AP/AD?

I've won two games as JG Nasus. One as AP, the other as AD. I feel like the AP was better, but other people keep saying it's garbage. Keep playing it? Or listen to the haters? I feel like AD would work well, if I knew how to last hit better, but there are things I enjoy about the AP build. Damage seems to take way too long into the game to develop now, since the ADC and item changes. I feel like the best way to have early game now is AP. Plus his E is great for wave clear and building the last hit bonus on Q. If a game ever went to late game anymore, and I wasn't so underleveled (cause Jungle), I'd probably build hybrid into a Static Shiv, IE type thing, maybe trade something for stormrazor...but League games seem to be decided so early now that, to me, AP seems to be the way to go. If RIOT is going to set the game up for this pace, then at least they should lower the price on all items so folks can get through their build a little. I can't remember the last time I finished a game with more than 4 itiems LOL. Opinions appreciated. I typically start with Hunters Machette and build into the AP Jungle item it goes into.

I mean... it IS garbage. If you care enough about getting better at it you should get better at something...well...better.

However, if you must play jungle nasus, then you should go bruiser nasus. blue smite > triforce > cinderhulk > steraks > tank. Also go darkharvest and your Q is gonna hit like a truckkkkkk. The new movement speed rune on his R might be busted too

Play for fun, there is no "better"; going tank and farming camps stacking as much is the most reasonable thing, but AP and AD can still work as long as you don't get focused/stunned.

Nasus can't stack his Q as well in the jungle, so maybe AP is the way to go. Let me know if you hit D1 or higher, I'll start maining AP Nasus Jungle :D

long as you get the W you can bring adc soraka into the jungle for all I care. Ap nas seems like a better early game cheese, with ad nas being the better late game boi

I like to play unconventional champs in different roles. I was actually thinking Nami might be a decent Jungle. Unless someone is already doing that. Then it's not so revolutionary LOL.

I hope you keep up AP Nasus because he is difficult to deal with for 5 minutes and turns into a joke but Trinity force into tank Nasus is a nightmare to deal with

AP Nasus is better until about 40 mins where AD passes it in scaling. I have messed around with it was well on a smurf. Dark Harvest AP is dope. It scales just as well as the AD build (focused on Q stacks in jg) The general problem with Nasus jungle is his ganking. He straight up cannot gank champs that cannot be slowed or have good kite or disengage (Garen, Olaf, Janna, Vayne, Cait, Xayah, Lulu, etc) or champs like Renekton, Pyke, Akali, Kat, Ez, etc that Nasus cannot catch even after slowing.
