Diary of an ARAM player Trying SR

Day 1 Game 1 - Tried mid first based on board advice. Tried Malz. Epic fail. 4/11/4 only 68 CS in 25 mins. But was up against a Yas/Xayah mid duo and never got help from other lanes, so kind of weird from the beginning. Our team got trounced in kills 45-16. Game 2 - Tried Voli support due to confusion in Champ select. LOL actually worked really well with Yas bottom, my flip synced well with Yas knockup. We won our lane and the game rather easily and I contributed 19 assists. I'll take that every time. Laned against Sona, Ashe. Game 3 - They wanted me to JG but I've never done it, so I went Top Voli. Was winning lane, won first tower. Then after 45 mins of helping other lanes and pushing my own, our JG up and AFK's. Lame. We were ahead and should have won. I had a decent KDA and won my lane so I guess there's some solace in that. My stats look worse cause we got trounced once they knew we were down a player. Laned against Rumble. Which was funny, because I was so tank, I'd wait for E fear to CD then I'd run out, fear him and take a few swipes then farm. Wash rinse repeat. LOL.

Day 1 observations. I certainly miss shorter games and starting with all 3 spells and more gold! LOL! I so miss it. But I'm gonna keep trying for Rift satisfaction. I may just toss it again, but it's worth a look to see what it's about these days. A lot different mid, that's for sure. Back in the day I played SR when mages ruled that lane. Not in Kansas Mid anymore Dorothy!
