QQ about Balance

WARNING*** OKAY, this is probably going to piss a lot of people off. However it needs to be addressed.

I constantly have friends from lower ELO complain about balance. I look on these forums and people complain about champion balance. Heres the thing, at lower ELO Plat and lower imo balance is irrelevant. I can play on my smurfs and beat champions who are "overpowered" or buffed with champions who are supposed to be countered by those OP champs.

Take responsibility for your play. If you think a champion is so OP its disgusting, learn that freaking champion and play him. In the pro scene when champions get buffed, the pros PICK THEM UP AND PLAY THEM. They don't cry about it, its part of the game. Deal with it, there is no imaginable scenario where every champion is balanced. Someone will always have an edge.

With that being said, how can you beat these OP champs? Have a deep understanding of the champions you play. . Back when cinderhulk first hit the scene and champs like Sej and Gragas were literally the gods of the jungle who were played in nearly every game, I mained Evelynn and Nidalee and still managed to climb from S5 to D5 in 2 months on my main.

Every champ has its niche in certain situations or comps. LEARN THE GAME, LEARN YOUR CHAMPION, LEARN HOW TO EXPLOIT THOSE LAME PEOPLE WHO EXCLUSIVELY PLAY THE META OR BUFFED CHAMPS (OP). Do this and you will thrive. Look to add different facets into the way you play the game.

Sincerely,

Potential

This is beating the already beaten dead horse. People don't want to be told it's their fault for why they lose, they want to blame something that they can't control directly.

Don't understand why you thought you would be downvoted for this. +1

What? Putting effort instead of random rant into something? How dare you!

it's not that champions are op, it's that once champions get ahead enough it eliminates counterplay from the other lanes. specifically mid lane. if you're bot lane, and mid gets fed like nothing else before you make it to a power spike, then it's almost impossible to recover from that.

Ever played smash melee?

If so you do know the infamous monster that Is fox/falco.They are OP,and no one argues with that, but people learned to play against them.Does It make things all fine and dandy?Nope.

OP champions kill diversity, they make the meta surround them like a solar system and then you have your Mercurys who are almost on par with said OP champions or can counter them and you have your obsolete plutos that people don't even consider a planet anymore(You know what I mean.)

But In all honesty, single champions are rarely the problem, having a meta favoring a certain playstyle Is.(eX. burst mage meta, juggernauts, top lane bruiser circlejerk, etc.)

In the long run,you can learn how to fight an overpowered champion, but It might not be satisfying that they can gimmick their way to a fed state(ex.Pre nerf Katarina ganks braindead botlane,gg.).One thing certain however Is that OP champions kill diversity.
