Best High Elo Jungler Picks Diamond +

I started season 5 at silver. My lane of choice was mid. After having tons of close games that I lost due to my own actions or the teams (afk/feeders/ragers/bad team play overall). I decided to make a transition to being a jungle main as I felt that I could have more impact in the game overall. I am active duty in the AIr Force and am currently deployed to the middle east and bored. Thus I wanted to start a discussion!

As I have risen in ELO / MMR, Highest to date D5 and 2300 MMR; I have seen a transition in Jungle picks due to the meta and skill level of my opponents. I want to know the jungle picks you have seen at each Meta, their effectiveness as champs, contributions to different comps, and your favorite junglers.

My top 4 at the moment are Evelynn, Nidalee, Jarvan, and Gragas. I love the impact they have early game, the aggressiveness that they allow and the seemingly endless amount of comps and roles they can fit into within the team. With these 4 champions I can put the team on my back if I do not trust my team or I can get competent players fed enough to carry. My early game directly translates to a win or a loss based on my effectiveness.

Thoughts? Weaknesses behind the 4? Strengths behind the 4?

Your picks/ underrated junglers?

Give me feedback boys!

There is no weakness in the 4 you chose, grant it eve is a better counter jungler early game and j4 is strong no matter what nid only gets stronger but is harder to use for spear purposes I've seen ad nid I think they nerfed it as it stands I think that every div has its own playstyle and if your not finding success at jungling perhaps rotate roles again. I'm silver lol but I was jungling rengar and I couldn't carry regardless if inwas 20 and 4 then I switched to support and can do that well I play passively mostly on account of who I picked and I sit back in team fights as taric as to peel for adc I find that works better but I don't play him much cause I was getting to strong in the Game.o

As someone who has climbed from Silver 3 to Diamond 5 this season, I don't really see anything wrong with those picks. Evelynn/Nidalee are still contested picks at really high elo because they aim to close out games fast, and they have the knowledge/experience to do so. I personally have mained tank Ekko throughout Platinum and into Diamond, I strongly feel that he's still a really good pick with a kit that allows him to stay relevant even when behind thanks to the nature of his abilities.

His early game pressure is disgusting and if you land your stun early it's basically a guaranteed kill. Coupled with the mobility from your E, and the CC from your passive and Q, you have a very strong ganker and teamfighting champion that can build according to any situation (minus AD builds). He scales well into the lategame thanks to his passive/ult and overall he's just a really fun guy to play.

I also have loads of success with Zac, he's my other favorite jungler and go to if Ekko is banned and I want some teamfight presence. A lot of people don't respect the ridiculous range on your E, nor do they respect your damage. Since he isn't really played it sort of gives you an edge if you really know how to play Zac. Plus it's always amazing turning around a fight by having your mid or toplaner teleport on your blob while you're reviving to make you invincible haha.
