I seriously hate this champion. Is there another character that just kicks his ass? it doesnt seem like he gives a crap about armor since he just does true/ magic damage with sated and rageblade. seriously im asking for help on how to deal with this champ???
Stunning yi, effectively wastes his ult. Champions able to burst him are also effective. Try to shut him down early, as he is lategame snowball champion, if he is fed, it's basically rip.
Stuns and hard CC make him cry.
Any stacking HP champ with Thornmail and another armor item is good, even against a Rageblade/Devourer build. The problem is, unless Yi is stupid, he won't focus you, he will just delete your carries and let other people deal with you.
The other solution is to hard-cc him, so Nautilus/Leona work decently against him.
My best counters to yi are the champs that I main which are Elise and Rek'Sai. Elise crushes him because of her cocoon for hard cc and Rek'Sai is strong because of how much burst a titanic hydra + warrior Rek'Sai does.

Stop running away and fight him. Your not going to outrun him. He's just like ashe. Your either going to die or your going to kill him. There's no escape.
Exhaust. Sure he's immune to slows but not the damage reduction
Hard CC, it locks him enough for your damage to murder him, or take advantage of his weak early game with a strong early jungler. I've had success with Elise, Evelynn, Rek'sai, and Lee Sin. I'm sure there's more champions that are very capable of crushing him early.
Exhaust is a good option as well, it gimps his damage.
Rammus rapes him, Thornmail + w (and even E) rapes him, ultimate thornmail, he is forced to stand near you with e + ult, if he wants to hit you, he gets hurt
Have your team pick Lux/Morgana/Amumu/Jax/Etc
