#Introduction Hello, I am Catffeine, a Gold elo Twitch main making a steady climb through the ladder. Because Riot's in-game tips are rarely useful, I decided to start doing daily tips of things I've learned through my climb and will learn over time. I hope people can find these tips useful in their own climb!

A lot of the time people will tell you to watch your map, but what do you do with the information the map provides?

If an enemy is missing, it means you should play safer regardless of where you think they might be, unless you've recently seen them. For example, if you're playing botlane and see the enemy midlaner missing, you should back up a bit and put yourself in a position where the enemy can't engage on you if they do show up. Even if you have a ward in your tribush and river, people get really creative with their ganks and can use the blast plant to get behind you.

If you notice the enemy is missing, or haven't had vision on the jungler recently, back up until you can get vision or until you're confident that you're safe.

Alternatively, you can punish the enemy jungler or laners by taking advantage of knowing where they are. If the jungler is toplane, you can apply pressure on bot and take dragon. If the jungler is botlane, you can apply pressure on top and take Rift Herald. If your laner is far from their lane, you can pressure your lane's tower.

Lastly, pay attention to your team's position. If your laner is playing oddly aggressive and your jungler is on the opposite end of the map from you, it's safe to assume the enemy is confident they can kill you and your jungler isn't around to bail you out, so you should probably back up and play a little bit safer until your jungler is nearby. If your midlaner is making their way down bot, you should engage in order to force the enemy to commit to guarantee your gank is successful. If you're a jungler and see your team isn't nearby while two enemies or an enemy who has an advantage on you is taking your jungle, you should forfeit it and look to take an advantage elsewhere.

Also if your laner doesn't ping a MIA, that's your fault for not paying attention.
