Instead of having Eve return to stealth after a fixed duration, why not remove the timer and just re-apply the stealth when Eve enters brush? According to the lore, Evelynn melts into the shadows prior to stalking a target, and last I checked the shadows aren't found in the middle of the lanes.

I get the idea (kind of like Teemo, right?), but giving it a timer helps when it comes to counter play since Eve players have to be smart about when they break their stealth.
Now, it would be cool if she could reapply her stealth during a fight (like pressing R again if she hits an enemy for a short time, or something like that), but just simply walking into a bush would make her ridiculous since she could easily fight people near bushes by going stealth, regardless if there's a ward (since normal wards can't reveal her).

Desolas Arterius2 votesPerhaps, but that still leaves the balancing issue of Ivern's ability to create bushes anywhere, and the fact that going out of vision (like in a bush) interrupts casts and AAs. And since Eve has stealth, being able to earn it just going into a bush would cripple counterplay against her.
At least with Teemo's stealth he's stuck in the bush if he wants to stay invisible, but Eve can be invisible outside of bushes, so giving her a reset essentially just by going into a bush would be too much.
I think something similar to Noc's ult would work. High CD and single target only or group target if they are hit with it (like her current ult radius). Example: Eve's ult makes her "invisible" to the enemies she "envelopes in shadows". Since that would fit her lore of being able to disappear instantly into the shadows. Just an idea though.
Primaquarius2 votesPutting it in her ult as a "perspective stealth" mechanic would actually be a brilliant idea, and I would have gotten there eventually.
That way Eve could have unique pressure or free positioning time where the enemy must communicate with each other to stop her.

Desolas Arterius2 votesYou could easily remove the damage from it and make it more utility focused, thus giving her other abilities more power. This would help her use it for either repositioning during a fight, or maybe even surprise enemies who aren't utilizing their pink wards.
And if Eve isn't careful and only ults 2 of the 5 enemies, the 3 outside of the ult can still see her thus making her vulnerable to CC and damage.
Could actually work really well :D Who knows what Riot would do but I think that would be better than her weird slow/shield ult :/

Desolas Arterius1 votesYeah it's pretty much worthless haha. When I play Eve I focus on getting their squishies or surprising enemies. I can't full on engage them since her shield is really weak and she can get CC'd to death haha.
It's best to play her as an assassin even though she's classified as a Diver haha. A little bit of tank + AP helps her down the long road. Rylai's especially since it helps lock down squishy champs just by machine gunning her Q haha.

You pretty much build her AP bruiser now. So 
are all you really need. The rest is like 
depending on what you need.
Even 
works for maximum sneaky split pushing.
Either way she's a husk of her former self. Her Hybrid or AD builds were crazy and super good. Now she strictly has to focus on tank with 1-2 AP items or she'll die before she can engage.
Oleandervine1 votesThe conspicuous lack of Eve work for the assassin roster update all but confirms that she's fairly close, if not at the top of the list for a full VGU after Warwick or Galio. Be patient and we'll see what's in store for her.
