bush ward bug?

twice today, in ranked, i saw a bug where wards in brush didnt reveal anything. i wondered the first time if there was a sliver between brush and wall(as shown in the screenshot), but then it happened again bot lane.

is this a bug or is there a sliver between the brush and the wall in the particular spot?

What looks like part of the grass may not actually be the exact outline of what the game defines as part of it.

When placing a ward, check that the cursor is green instead of blue; that indicates that you're currently aiming at a spot that is inside brush.

The edges of bushes are bugged and don't actually act as part of the bush. It's been this way since league launched.
