quick question(sorry if this has been asked before)

the icon shown is not the icon i have selected. in boards, it is always shown as this (at least when i see it), regardless of what i change it to. its weird. it doenst really matter, im just kinda confused.

i did a quick google search and found no answers that seemed pertinent, however im sorry if this is a duplicate. feel free do delete if so.
