Blue Kayn is hilariously inferior to Red Kayn in every way

Like for real. List one reason why you would ever want to go Blue over Red. Let me stop you there: There isnt one.

Blue Kayn's Q doesnt do damage. His passive may as well not even exist because he wont be building magic pen to make it useful, and if he DOES build magic pen then he doesnt do any damage anyway. Meanwhile red Kayn can get to 20% of a target's max life with a single Q with like 2 items.

His "You can now move while casting W!" bonus is barely a bonus at all, considering the slow is still weak as crap and isnt as good as the knockup Red Kayne offers.

His E bonus is nice, but virtually all it does is let him flank so he can jump on a carry and lose a duel faster.

And his ult is just... why. Great, he can jump in from further away, so what? That doesnt help him assassinate any better when he doesnt do any damage while he's using it. I get that the idea is to use E to engage, attack for a few seconds with passive up, then ult to reset it. But once again, Red Kayn's is simply better. He can engage just as easily as Blue can but has a more reliable way to dive thanks to his knockup, and his ult does more damage, _and it heals him afterwards.

Blue Kayn does nothing better than Red Kayn except mobility, which he cant even exploit thanks to the rest of his kit not being strong enough to follow up on it.

To be fair even before the buffs to blue kayn I said that it's not underpowered... The thing is not that blue form sucks, but the fact that red form is kinda op in general and its hard to justify ever going blue form. Blue form is an assasin, when your snowballing you can definetely one shot people, and potentially get out thats about it. Red form is an ad casting type fighter, that does less burst to squishies, but a lot more damage to tanks, and generally lives longer in fights due to all the healing in his kit, and also has cc. Does not take a genius to understand that red form scales better into the lategame, because of added survivability and cc, tank shredding, and it kinda does damage too because you live longer to get more rotations off. So my point is, its not that blue form is bad if you compare it to other assasins. Its that red form is overloaded, and it's hard to justify blue in most scenarios.

Here's the real difference in forms.

Blue farm moves MUCH faster and can dish out it's burst in 1 clean rotation since you can W Q at the same time to detonate TL and then toss 1 auto in to proc your duskblade and triforce if you bought it.

Blue does have weaknesses such as, 0 survivability.

Red is much better for killing anyone who builds hp, but it doesnt massacre adcs or assasins at top speed, blue can kill a vayne before she can even use her R Q to escape. Now you can just build assasin and go red form anyways.

But yes, red is still MUCH better, if you play kayn in ranked and go blue form, you better have a 20 kill lead or you're getting reported.

The form you chose depends :- I) If the enemy get fed early, you might go blue form because it provides mobility and in red form you might not be able to fight them. 2)If you get fed then you can go Red form since it is more capable to fight than blue kayn. 3)Also , if you have yasuo in your team and you are doing jungle, you can choose Red form for better ganks as yasuo can then easily ult. 4)As per my experience, I like Red better than Blue. Hope this helps !! Kayn
