Why this season feels so unfair, matchmaking issues and game play changes.

RIOT has created a self destructive matchmaking system. If you win a lot you are forced to play with teammates who are lower elo and mmr than you while playing against teams who have similar mmr to yours. Last season this was not so much of a problem because one player could make a bigger difference and carry the trolls and the guys that simply don't belong in their elo. This season however, RIOT has ensured that teamwork is a must. Because teamwork is so important it would make sense that the old system would get replaced or updated so that you don't get matched against teams that clearly out skill the rest of your team. Instead though, the old system is still in place so while I get matched against other gold players, my teammates are typically low gold and silver players. So on top of the massive number of trolls this season (because everyone is upset over how RIOT handled this seasons pre-ranked matches) you also have to figure out a way to carry less skilled or less willing players while being against players of equal or higher skill than your own. I try my best every game, I do not give up and I discourage quitters while encouraging the try-hards. But in this season it does not matter. Try as hard as you want, it's not possible to carry people who refuse to work as a team this season. Riot, please re-think your matchmaking if you are going to force so much teamwork. If a player is good why punish them by putting bad players on their team? Just let time solve it since the good players will naturally move up. There is no reason to force them to struggle by making the matches unfair. Wasn't the whole point of this season to "eliminate the unskilled players who got carried and put them back into the elo's they belong"??? So if you want the skilled and unskilled separated properly wouldn't it make sense to allow the skilled ones a fair fight? All that will happen is they will move up more easily while the unskilled will be stuck with their own level of players. Make it even across the board. Gold plays against gold and silver against silver and plat against plat. This way you don't have one or two good players getting screwed by 3 bad ones.

These are my thoughts after solo Q to plat 4 in season 5. I have been playing for a some time and love the game but ranked has become a nightmare this season.
