Why do I see ADC's taking 0 mr runes

Seriously, I don't understand why some people who play ADC's think it's smart to take 0 mr blues and expect to survive when you get blown up. Unless your support always gets a locket or banner or you yourself buy mr, ad items, I honestly don't comprehend why you wouldn't want some defense from AP damage.

I've seen some ADC's testify they don't need them because they always dodge spells and then I see them in game, and it's like are you really sure about that. Like, I've seen some ADC's buy an IE, runnans, shive, serkers, BT, and an ER with 30 mr and expect to never get blown up.

Also what's up with half the ADC's never getting a blue trinket (Farsight one) when you get the chance to cuz the range on the yellow ward is far too dangerous for an ADC

I have different pages based on the enemy team comp. If its a full AD team comp, I'll opt for attack speed glyphs instead of MR. If there is an AP midlaner, I'll use MR/lvl glyphs because I won't need the MR right away anyway. If there is a mage support like brand, sona, or morgana then I'll use flat MR glyphs.

Low elo is a clown fiesta, where your particular skill is going to be a much more deciding factor than the particular stats from runes, so if you can snowball harder with AD/AS/mana regen/cdr/whatever runes instead of MR, then it's viable.

At higher elos, locket pretty much is a given to be rushed (to the point theres a fairly good chance a future update will remove locket/aegis so it's less of a necessary support buy). Also, merc scimitar is pretty decent as an adc build option that gives MR, as well as maw, and really it's not uncommon for an adc's 6th item to be an as needed defence item (usually banshees veil or guardian angel, both of wwhich provide a good chunk of MR). As such, the adc is likely to get an ok amount of MR one way or another, and if their positioning is good and their team is peeling, they won't really be taking much damage in the first place.

because the game is ending faster and ppl want to do their earlygame thing faster

i dont play adc much but i would think having the damage runes would be best. In my opinion, i feel runes only really effect the early early game. having a extra 5 or 6 Mr resist mid and late game really makes 0 difference IN MY OPINION. And in the early early game the adc should be focusing on farming and not really be getting clkose enough to get blown up in the 1st place.

i'm not going to say im the best ADC but we're glass cannons. we dont rely on armor and MR we focus on death rather than life.

as for those adc's who say "ill just dodge it" there idiots lol. i rely heavily on my support and will never make excuses for my own mistakes.

i dont take MR runes because it takes up to much room that for me could add better killing potential early game

but thats just my personal preference

If you happen to look at current guides on moba or lol or pro guides a lot of the guides will give a series of options to run instead of mr glyphs. Like mana or attack speed or damage. Plus depending on rank and not it is the same as a mage with no mr and ap instead. Is it smart? depends how good you are and your supp I guess.
