Shaco Rework Idea
Shaco Rework
Passive: Backstab Shaco's abilities and Basic Attacks deal 15% increased damage to enemies facing away from Shaco.
Q: Decieve Creates a clone of shaco for 4/4.5/5/5.5/6 seconds which deals 40% damage, and shaco becomes stealthed himself for 2/3/4 (scaling with level of Send In The Clown) seconds on cast. If the clone is destroyed it will explode dealing magic damage (considerably less than before). If the clone runs out of time it simply vanishes. If shaco hits an opponent from behind while stealthed the bonus from Backstab is doubled.
W: Jack In The Box This is the big change. The Jack in the Boxes will now deal a stacking slow on each hit and the fear is removed. They will also scale up in AS and Health as the skill levels up, as well as taking 50% of shaco's bonus AS and health. Still scale on AP. I'm also thinking they should use an ammo system.
E: Two-Shiv Poison Is now a skillshot. Applies a 30% slow on hit. If shaco hits his opponent in the back with the activated version of two-shiv poison it will stun them for 1 second. Has same passive as original.
R: Send In The Clown Shaco goes into a parry stance for 3 seconds. If he is hit while in this stance a giant crazy looking jack in the box appears over him, fearing enemies around it for 1/2/3 seconds while also persistently dealing magic damage in the same radius for 5/7/9 seconds each 1 second or until destroyed. Shaco can stand under the jack in the box to avoid damage and hide himself. If he is not hit while in the parry stance half of the cooldown is refunded.
Intention This essentially will change shaco's game drastically. Rather than being an early game assassin who falls off at around level 8...he'll be more of a team player with a similar amount of tricks up his sleeve. He will have less mobility options and "unfair" gank opportunities in place for actual team presence. This kit also leaves him some amount of opportunity to be played as a mage which i believe was part of the original intention. Definitely dont take any of the numbers as gospel..I just figure a kit like this would be easier to balance out and would cause less QQ than his current kit..
