I've been having a LOT of issues spectating matches since the last patch (4.21). I pretty much can't see an entire match and it will freeze intermittently. It also pretty much always disconnects and say something along the lines of "spectator server not responding, game will now close". Anyone else having these problems? I was hoping this recent patch would alleviate some of it but it hasn't...at all...

nope i havent been able to spectate a game since 4.21 and just tried this morning after new patch but still broken. I thought surely they would have fixed it since last patch but they have not. Guess its not happening to enough of the player base for them to worry too much about it.
Ever since two days ago, I've been getting an error at the time I should see the TEAM -VS- TEAM screen. Anyone know what it means? Is it the same one you are? I made it into a game once out of the 40-or-so times I attempted to spectate, and then that game crashed soon after I got in, giving me the error message you posted. I do not like when things malfunction, and I try to fix them myself, leading to many tests. This is why I tried to spectate so many times. If any Rioter can explain or give a fix, it would be greatly appreciated.
ok so yeah it isn't just me... I get the error at a lot of different times. If the game does load it will crash shortly thereafter.. Sometimes the match won't load at all. I dunno whats going on but...we need riot to like, pay attention! Upvote the thread so we can get them to notice!
OMG this same exact thing is happening to me! It has been happening for a month or two now. I can't load a spectate game at all! I get a black screen with the popup that says "Unable to download spectator data. The game will now exit".
I have tried everything from repairing the client to a complete uninstall and reinstall! I have also opened ports for LoL.

I can't see the entire match , the middle of the screen is all white I can only see half of the spectated game and when I play I cant see everything in the shop( i see the items but they are blurry ) . What can i do ??????
