is there a reason playing against nasus is so stressful?

2/7/1 at 40 minutes but with 300cs + free farm stacks, teleports in 1v5 when I'm an 11/0 adc and takes out my jungler and mid before I can kill him with both LW and BoTRK completed, how is this fair? I'd rather play against a 20 kill LeBlanc or Zed..

I usually top lane. I really hate the vs nasus lanes. If you go top vs nasus, it seems like there is one role for you, and that is to beat on nasus every time he goes for a stack. That means giving up your own cs so you don't push lane and keep him exposed. You can kill him like this, but that kill gold won't make up for the cs. Eventually no matter how much you beat on him, he is going to outscale you at some point. Your sole purpose becomes to sit in top lane and beat on him and pray your other lanes win the game before he gets too crazy to deal with.

If they made him stronger early, then you couldn't stop the stacks well enough. If they made it much harder to stack then he wouldn't likely hit a decent amount to be worthwhile in most games. I think he just needs a rework that makes him less weakling/god early/late and I don't think they can do it just by tweaking numbers.

Well I main Nasus and here's what I will tell you about Nasus.

Nasus is a freeloader.

If his mid and bot lose lane then he loses the game automatically because enemy mid/bot come camp top and he loses stacks, and Nasus is utter trash when he is behind in stacks and has no way of carrying his team if he has been prematurely cut off from his stacks due to camping.

If his mid/bot lanes win, then he wins by default because enemy team is so busy dealing with the fed mid/bot that they don't ever come top to stop him from stacking.

If all lanes go even, then he farms while his team 4v5's and if they can hold off 40 minutes then his team usually wins by default because by that time he has enough stacks to 3 shot inhib turrets.

He has zero impact on other lanes, which is why he is a freeloader. He doesn't want to teleport or roam to begin with because he loses stacks by leaving top, and he also has difficulty starting fights because he has no hard CC and is easily kited, hence it is usually not worth leaving lane for him because he rarely gets any kills or even assists out of it.

If Nasus wins game, it's not because he did well (unless he somehow won lane due to misplays on the opposing top/jungler's part. Nasus is NOT supposed to win lane. If he wins lane, then you're fucked, because he can stack freely and will never fall off) its because his team didn't feed during the laning phase and played it safe if they died in order to prevent a snowball situation.

as an Irelia main, I can tell you why I hate going agaisnt him. First off, I'm not saying he's OP or anything like that.

He's stressful mainly because of his endless Q stacks, which branches in a few different issues.

You can't just play the "Allright, let's just farm" kind of game, because he will outscale you if you play like that, you can't really leave Top lane that freely because there's always the risk he will farm too much and outscale you, so you really have to make these TP's to bot or whatever count. He rushes mainly defensive items (like, vs Irelia, a FH) and he WILL outdamage you eventually, and worse of all, he will become "Raid boss" category soon enough.

So yeah, he's mainly stressful because if you don't completely shut him down in lane like HARD, he will become a major issue eventually.

That's not why Nasus is stressful; he's stressful because his existence forces you to be in the top lane for the entire game, because if you leave for even a second he'll be at your inhibitor by the time you're back.

I feel in most other ways, Nasus is relatively balanced

All he do is baby sit top lane, and farm. So take advantage of the 4v5 and get drags or other towers. if you LET him free farm of course he will get big, any champion does... Susan (nasus) is no different.

erm, leblanc is shît, lichebane was too much nerfed and dfg is deleted. and you obviously didnt see a good zed player, tanky zed is impossible to beat. The counter to nasus is amumu ap bruiser.

Thornmail, my friend. It's always the answer. If your tank buys Thornmail - hell, if your bruiser buys Thornmail - Nasus hurts himself more than he hurts you.

nasus has old kit, and he needs rework. when riot finish their current reworks, they will start him probably.

there is 2 ways to beat nasus: pick vlad, or push him and roam after taking tower while nasus is farming.
