Ok I know that most likely no one is going to look at this thread at all especially since its the first time I've ever felt the need to make one but I just need something to vent. So season 6 just starts up I do 5 games get 4 wins 1 loss. Decent. I just came back to ranked yesterday and finished with an overall of 8 wins 2 losses. Great. You wanna know what I find out i'm placed for my fresh new rank! :D BRONZE 1! I would've been fine with anything. Gold 5, silver 3, hell even silver 5 which is just above bronze 1! But BRONZE really! I worked my butt off during those 10 placement matches and even carried a few times with my jungle role and I would've been fine with Silver 5 at the very least! Now if I want the bare minimum of what I was working to even get I gotta go though this hit and miss system of climbing and considering its bronze 1 of all places I can see i'm gonna be here for a LONG, LONG, time. This is more of a rant than anything but I just couldn't believe this. Has this happened to any of you who most likely aren't reading this? Cause it feel bad man. Really bad. Its like riot saying, "Oh you worked hard to complete your placements? Too bad here is your new home of Bronze 1! Enjoy your long stay. :)" item 3070 item 3070 item 3070

Check previous complaints that are all over the boards. Placements matches don't affect the ranking. It's previous season's mmr and some equation that I neither know nor care to look up at the moment. Placement matches hold little value over where you go. Despite their name

You dont seem to understand rank, or placements in general. Just because you go 8 and 2, doesnt mean you deserve a high ranking. those 8 wins could have been with bronze MMR, whereas those 2 loses could have been up against a higher ELO players. Because of that the system knows you are probably better but needs to see it much more often. If you dont belong in a certain rank you will eventually go up. You just gotta play.

Just win games and earn your placement. Don't give the typical "trolls, afks, feeders" excuse either. Everyone starts somewhere. Diamond players weren't born Diamond.
