Low priority problems

Ok so I know this may seem retarded and I may just have overlooked something even though i'm sure I didn't but I am a bit anxious about this. So just yesterday (or a couple hours ago whichever you prefer). I was put on low priority queue. Now normally this wouldn't be a problem and I would simply suck it up and work off my games and hope my internet doesn't cut out again. However, just recently I was teaching a sibling of mine how to play league and I brought him into a few custom games. I teach him basic stuff, we leave the custom game so that we don't have to prolong it, a normal routine. Then when i set him up for a co-op match after he won I was put on low priority. The thing is however, we never left the match save for one instance that wasn't even long enough to justify a low priority. Furthermore, we never once received an afk warning during the match so it is impossible for us to have been put on low priority for that anyway. I have already sent in a ticket but this is mainly just to ask if this is a game wide thing or if its just me because if it really is just me I'm gonna feel pretty miffed.
