Tips on climbing in low elo as an adc?

I'm not sure if it's me, my team, or my support, but I just can't win games unless I take Vi jungle, which 1. Not sure why Im so successful with her and 2. I don't really want to play her for many games in a row. I feel that I am at least silver but I can not get out of my rank. If I make it to my promos I just lose 2 in a row, and that's a big if I actually make it. Any tips or should I just play another role until I can eventually climb? I just want to make this very clear though, ** I am in no way am complaining about me being a plat+ player being stuck in bronze**. Im just wanting to know some tips for the adc role so I can maybe one day reach at least gold.
