How does Teemo Blind work?

I was just reading about it on lolwikia and it says: "A unit that is blinded will deal 100% reduced physical damage on-hit".

So does this mean a blinded unit can still deal magic damage? Because if so, my friend is in a game (now actually) playing Lulu and claims her Q is hitting Teemo while blinded and it's saying 'missed'. Her Q does magic damage though...

And the wikia also says there is an exception to some on-hit abilities, like Udyr's Bear Stance stun. Is there somewhere I can read more detail about this effect? As many know, Teemo is the devil for low-elo players, so learning more about him seems like a good idea if I want to climb out of bronze/silver. And the wikia doesn't seem to include all of the details associated with his Blind.

Please & thank you!!

Lulu Q is a skillshot, it'll 100% hit if it connects with his hitbox, as it's unaffected by the blind. Her autos will 'miss' but idk about Pix's bonus on-hits.

it makes the person blind and cant land the physical damage on hit.

but casters, abilities, mages, arent trying to physically hit you... therefore their spells are not effected by blind

but empowered autos like nasus's Q is

blinded lulu/kayle/teemo can still proc magic damage with their passive/ranged toggles.

I've never tested it before but yea I think you're right. Magical abilities might still hit him when blinded, it's kinda why teemo is known to counter most top laners because most top laners go ad.

note i also said bronze/silver elo. Low ranked players dont always see how 'easy' it is.

I'm not entirely certain, but since it reduces physical damage on-hit, I'd guess it does LITERALLY only that. Udyr hit you for 120 physical damage and a stun? 120 damage ignored, stun not ignored. Lulu hit you for 70 physical and 50 magical? 70 physical ignored, 50 magic taken, because it't not typed as "physical" damage. Things get messy when it comes to % damages. I think it really varies based on abilities. For instance... Vi's denting blows puts a proc on you then the third proc deals % physical damage. It MIGHT be set up in the code so that Vi's autos apply the mark and the MARK is what does the % damage, getting around the blind in a weird, goofy, "omfgwtf is this coding?" way. I haven't tested this, to be fair.

But yeah... Riot's coding is notoriously all over the place in what works where and why. The only real way to know if it works or not on someone is trial and error.

try and get a PM out to SirTeemo on the boards. He is a Teemo main and can tell you everything you need to know.
