How in the world is this possible? I have a little fencing experience and know what riposting is and if I was attacked by a laser as strong as Lux's or hit with an aoe spell I know I cannot perry them with a sword. If Yasuo's wind wall and Braum's shield can't block Lux's Ult then Fiora shouldn't be able to riposte it either.

I do think it's a little bs that she can almost just about negate any ultimate. She's one of those champions who can dish out a lot of damage to a specific group of champions, but gets absolutely decimated (Demaciated) by a very specific group of champions because of a huge counter.

Again I will bring up Braum's shield, a solid object which light doesn't pass through, doesn't block Lux's ult. That does defy logic.

Here, allow me to teach you how to think in context.
Context is the king of the world.
Under the context of League of Legends, a (Fantasy-based, though this part is practically unimportant at the moment) game, we need to think under the rules established by the game through coding and not the laws of physics or logic or any of that shit.
Yasuo's Windwall blocks projectiles. What are projectiles? They have visible travel-times, travel-speeds, an end destination in mind, and are not coded as a unit (i.e Minions). Yasuo's and Braum's walls will block all that fall under this rule, much to the spite of all the annoying bitching idiots that try to apply logic to Yasuo's wall. Nami ult? Stopped. Void energy surging from the ground. Blocked. Tali ult and Braum ult? Stopped in their tracks. Energy surging from Fiora's riposte? Yes still blocked.
What aren't projectiles? "Lasers", or, as I like to call them, instantaneous effects with fancy animation. Lux ult isn't a projectile. Vel'koz ult is the same. Viktor Q enhanced AA isn't, nor is Azir AA. These have an automatic effect that have a lazer-like quality. They aren't coded as projectiles, and thus are not treated as such.
Fiora's riposte, however, is coded as a spellshield with the added effect of stunning those that attempt to apply any cc on her and are in the hitbox of the blue or gold box. Spellshields block everything in the game. Everything. Applies to Nocturne, Sivir, EoN and Banshee's. These will completely nullify anything thrown at them for a short window.
Honestly, this might be slightly dumber than all the people crying about Yasuo's windwall blocking things that, under real logic (again, it does not apply to a game), it should not block.

ChuShoe1 votesI just want to point out, that metal is reflective, so I guess you could kinda say she does do the logical thing, and pulls out a reflective surface to reflect light, preferably in a way that won't kill her or her teammates.

The only way it can block a Summoners is either if she predicts it (which is ridiculously hard and mostly luck), or if the person using the Summoners is a dumbass and uses it while she's in the parry animation.
Stop whining and learn to play around it.
