Riot, just give us more base resistances

The damage in the game is too high, but instead of lowering it, you can just give us more armor and magic resists, so that we can team fight instead of blowing the entire enemy team up. I didn't see teamfights being played properly since S7. I want the game to be more strategic than this clown fiesta that we have right now. Everything is oneshoting everything and I think magic resistances and armor are just too low.
