riot when will we see a nerf to jayce? hes base dmage on ability is pretty frggin ridiculous, at lvl 3 the just smears any tank or dps. if not a nerf to his damage, maybe a nerf to his tanyness? being as tanky as any other bruiser, but having ranged w/e he wants +the acceleration gate that makes his q do soooo much dmg, then hammer ability that slows, and one that dose a base 7% of some ones hp at that low of level....kinda needs to be balanced....
They have nerfed him on PBE.
we nerfed Darius dw he was a priority. we all know someone who has to get ontop of you and relies on healing is toxic but a champ that has burst movement AND ranged burst while retaining melee stats is balanced for the game.

darius, only really needs a nerf on the base dmg of his q, the rest of it you can deal with farily well if you know what you are doing. bu it feels no mater what you are playing as a top laner, jayce always seems to just trump it w/o even needing to try....just get to lvl 3 win, and nothing can even touch you....like say if you're nasus vs jayce in top lane....nasus base healing dosen't help against jayce's burst or range dmg, wither dosen't effect him either when it should slow down his autos but it really seems to do nothing....(ie when he's ranged and activates i belie his w which gives him attack speed)

Still find it bizarre that people can't dodge his EQ combo. It's got a giant neon DODGE NOW sign that comes with it. Also ... it gets stopped by minions.
Yeah there are some Jayce players that can fast-cast Q then E, but it's usually a wilder shot and you still get a dodge now warning from the Q.
His hammer side is crazy weak compared to every other melee top ever.
Jayce is someone that needs to dominate in order to win the game, play very fucking safe against him and let him waste his mana, then jump on the bastard and watch him fall, if he loses his advantage then he will be damn weak unless his team can score a comeback.
The thing that pisses me off the most about Jayce is that it wasn't enough to give him the single best poke in the game. No, they had to go even further and give him a perfect combination of engage/disengage. He jumps in, whacks you in the face, and then knocks you away, and it's all point-and-click. Jayce decides when you're going to be engaged on, and he decides when it ends, and you just have to take it. Even if somehow you manage to get past his disengage, he can still just gate and run.
Everything about this champion is designed to give him the upper hand in every matchup. He's an anti-melee poker when he needs to be, and an anti-range hard-engager when he needs to be. He's both mechanically broken in his kit and numerically broken with that god-forsaken Q.

Ignore the fact nid has always been better and Jayce still will have no actual build path or synergy.
Ignore the fact he falls off the face of a mountain in mid game.
