the reason riot is holding back on nerfing CRIT is most likely because of melee carries
if they decided to nerf crit,
yasuo would need 10% extra damage on crits, instead of -10% damage on crits
if they nerfed crit,
yi would have to be buffed hard on his E, or reworked entirely
what about
tryndamere? hes not an amzing champ as he isnt tanky, counterable (very easily) and etc
and lets not forget, a lot of assasin players incorperate crit into their builds sometimes just because of the damage they rely on.
crit is unbalancable because of how it is, if you make marksmens crit value less, then marksmen will have to build lethality, and im not sure if you have faced a jhin with a duskblade, on his fourth shot, using
as a squishy, but he can literally one shot any squishy with 1900 hp (no shields)
(btw, "nerf" means to degrade the items stats, im fine with making the costs more expensive if riot is planning on doing this option instead, which i would agree with)
however, nerfing adc's instead of items could be better. Example: marksmen champs do 20 - 10% less crit damage and boom, adc's should be in a fine spot until the next damage meta. And for the jhin example up there, marksmen could just do less from on-hit effects.
one again, im not ok with riot nerfing crit, since some melee champs are too reliant on it. However, im saying its ok for riot to increase costs, or reduce marksmen damage.
Thank you.
