Mages bot lane are really effective in lower elos. Plus xerath don't get too close to get caught. I did the exact same thing.

I got to plat a few seasons now running Botrk Zzrot bard. Just did it to solo flex que to gold as well. 18 for 18 bard in flex huehuehue. Lower elo almost No one expects the bard to 1v1 their carrys then force objectives.

I'd say Xerath support is only off meta cause no pro's playing it yet. He's a really strong support champion.

how I do dodge xerath q without 450ms because it comes out too fast and he can just stick it on me for an almost no indication no charge burst.

First, congratulations :D Second, you belonged in plat anyways, imo. I love Xerath and after playing him mid I went support when mage supports were rampant (see Malz). I gave up after a few games, my last one was where my whole team died around base and the only kill 'we' managed to get was mine. It wasn't the first game/time that happened with me as ANY support, yet still manages to piss me off. And overall I felt there was literally nothing more I could've done that entire game, it felt more like work than my actual work, I was exhausted and my plat friend's excuse 'some games u just cant carry' was not satisfying. As I stated elsewhere, I think the carry potential increases with rank, and the presumption that bronze 1 can carry bronze 2, silver 5 can carry bronze 1 etc is just wrong.

Offtopic, are you gon go flex from here on in? Or will you try reaching higher ground?

I am not even suprised, i predicted this coming the moment i saw malz pushed down there, i simply sat down and considered which ones i felt had decent base damage and CC.

Then i thought of Lux, and then she was a thing for a while as a "support".

Xerath. Range, CC, base damage and he's even got some mana sustain albeit not much.
