Help me with Kha' Zix

VitaminJG·2/15/2016, 5:44:25 AM·2 votes·607 views

I have a couple question concerning me and my gameplay with Kha'Zix! My hope is that somebody here can help me out! My first question is with his build! Do I want to build the Tiamat and then the Hydra? Or do I want to abolish that and make room for a defensive Item? I know that they do that in the Higher Elo's but what works best? Also! How do you help in big team fights? He clearly gets bonus damage when he is Isolated, but when its a 5v5 of a 4v4 or 3v3, what do I do? Any advice is great!

Try to pick off targets or dive the low health people in the backline

Well team the best thing to do in my advice for fighting would be catch a person off by them self even if its a team fight and there to off from the group even slightly. You do bonus damage to isolated targets. Which highly increases your Q damage. If you catch a squishy high damage enemy off guard like this you basically won the team fight for your team. Not known to everybody there is a bonus to playing vs a enemy Rengar with Khazix. You can actually get all 4 abilities upgraded if you play it right. I recommend you look it up [slayer-jinx-wink]

Depends on your elo and playstyle to be honest. If you are lower elo/not as comfortable picking targets and resetting I would recommend you build more utility Kha. Maxing w first and evolving it gives you massively good clear and surprisingly effective ganks, you almost can't miss the slow and the damage is nothing to ignore either, even basic q is decent enough to kill in extended chases. Obviously warrior is a must on him, but from there his build is pretty flexible. If you are looking to max Q and pick people off quick in ganks early you probably want to rush warrior/youmuus The ghostblade attack speed buff isnt the greatest on him but its not bad, really you pop it for speed to either ult/close the gap kill and e away or e in kill and speed away. Also the AD and armor pen is amazing on him early. Usually gunna be hex next when they have decent ap and then probably a last whisper if they have anyone decently tanky. People sorely under value LW on kha. If they don't have that much or you just want to get tankier as the game goes on Black Cleaver is great, armor pen and 20% cdr (with ghostblade thats 30% on offensive items). For defensive items it really depends, I usually build one last or second to last item, if im being a hard focus I go GA and then people tend not to focus me for the reason that I just come back. If they are ad heavy I go deadmans/randuins, or if you are having trouble with burst steraks is good too. Hydra usually gunna be my 3rd/4th item and again it comes down to whether you are finding success with bursting someone out and living or you are a focus, ravenous better if you are a confident assassin and titanic gives you great stats for utility off tank kha.

Hope that gives you some options and things to consider in your games.

Just a short anwer, got no time (/Edit: I sacrificed my pre-school-time for this!!! That's bc I luv Kha'Zix and would like to see more guys plaing him ^^) : What I like to do is building

a) Tiamat if you are ahead

b) black cleaver then - like all the time

c) finish Hydra if you are still ahead, then go for youmuus or

d) go for tank Items such as dead man's, spirit visage, randuin's, if burst mages: banshee's...

e) other choices are building LW early, upgrade/sell it later after your core (cleaver, warrior and Tiamat) and getting GA if you are fed. A nice little trick is to sell GA after the first activation of it's passive, bc then it's basically useless ^^ u don't need armor/MR as much as a DMG item such as Deaths Dance. After the 3 mins have passed you can get it again

And get the warrior enchantment, of course :)

For your abilities: Start with W - Q -E then max R > Q > W/E

Evolving: really depends in your gamestyle I'd suggest evolving Q first = more DMG You can also evolve E first = more/better mobility, especially good if you are playing toplane/sometimes mid or if you just wanna jump around like crazy ;) Your must-have-evolutions are Q + E, I like evolving R for the cool color (you will become red :3 ) and W for more utility.

In TFs what you wanna do is basically wait until the fight has already started, then jump/Ult in - kill the ADC/APC - juke with ult - jump out/or on the next target.

You are also able to counterjungle pretty well, just get a leash on your krugs/gromp and run to the enemy Blue/red Buff. For that i'd consider taking Q + E first rather than W + Q/E for better chasing/escaping. but you have to watch the mini map and react to the other's pings in order to not give first blood to the enemy midlaner/adc

Sorry for eventual grammar mistakes, I'm no native speaker. I hope I could help you a bit, good luck and have fun! :)

#/Edit: But don't blindly believe me, I'm just a silver IV player :3 so pls don't criticize me too hard ^^
