Crazy Idea to Incentivize Warding.

What if there was a small (something like 1 gp5 or even less) passive gold bonus multiplied by the number of wards you currently have on the map? I think the yellow trinket is down for 60-120 seconds, so that ward would be worth up to 24 gold at most, worth less than a minion and a half.

Realizing that it could be abused by putting a control ward in fountain early game, but that's about the biggest issue I'm imagining right now.

Might be a horrible idea, but seems like something that could help supports out on gold and help out the whole team on vision.

I'm all for rewarding actions other than sitting in lane like a lump.

Granting vision and helping your team win the game is incentive enough...

If you don't do it you are hurting your team... Don't see why this is needed...

This is more of a training tool for low levels than an incentive....

Um...because what would stop you from placing a useless ward for the same cumulative effect.

It can encourage unintended warding behavior that is not about vision control. Actual wards have a very short life span. Enemy routinely clear out wards in important locations.

What if they place 3 wards at fountain just to utilize the gold portion?
