I understand criticism, but why so negative?

I know my post will have little effect, likely it will be down voted to oblivion, but that is okay. I just want to say this: why are we so afraid of change and so upset about various champions and items in league? It's a free game, and I challenge all of you to present me with a free game that's provided you more fun than league.

I understand when you're trying to make legitimate critiques of incoming changes and current states of play, but why do we need "daily reminder" posts or "nerf the assassin" posts?

I don't have the same experience most of you do: I mostly play ARAM, instead of toxic teammates I have a DC almost every game. I still love to play and I think riot is doing a great job.

I guess what I'm trying to say in fewer words: let's give riot games a lot more credit--they are giving us a fre (FREE!) product that's better than any game I can think of.

Not everyone who dislikes the changes is resistant to change. Sometimes it's possible to dislike changes because those changes are negative or have the high and distinct potential to be negative. Crazy, right?

In fact, after the abortion that was season 6, I would say most players are eager for change to get us away from that. It's just that the change has to be better, not worse.

And because it's a free game it would make sense for the developers to listen very closely to their players, because those players can leave and return at any time. Full price games have less incentive to listen to players after they've bought the game since the company already got the money.

If anything Riot should be more willing to listen to feedback, because League is a free game. They do not, not most of the time.

Riot has a tendency not to listen to feedback unless it's constant and aggressive. And even then, it's a gamble.

Malicious Metal is famous not because of his rational and well thought out arguments on Morde, but because Riot broke character and actually listened to those arguments. Sort of. Kinda.

And even then, MM had to constantly spam the boards with Morde threads. He still does.

Riot is actually doing a really decent job at balancing ARAM. So if that's all you play, it would appear that Riot is doing pretty good.

Step into ranked for a while, and your perceptions will change. Quickly.

Why is this in boards feedback of all places

If Riot removes the downvote function it's already an advancement.

Finally! Someone who doesn't gripe about how the game they get to play for free should bow to their whims! Great to see this.
