Death Time Discussion
Let's have a constructive discussion about how long you remain dead in this season. I want to see both pros and cons of this issue, not just people complaining about death timers being too long. I would also like to see possible solutions that go further than just changing the actual timer length.
Riot needs to see that we can be mature and open to discussion about the current state of the game for them to take us at all seriously.
Here are some initial questions to facilitate meaningful conversation:
- What do we like about long death timers?
- What do we dislike about long death timers?
- What is Riot's ultimate goal with current death timers?
- Are potential comebacks off a successful fight/big play late game worth shutout games?
- Would bringing the Revive Summoner Spell back help at all?
- Could there be an item/consumable that behaves like the Soul Anchor from Dominion?
- Would we mind the current death timers if Objectives were more robust?
- Could there be a new Champion Stat that would reduce death timers?
- Should tenacity reduce death timers (death is the best CC after all)?
