Keystone for Nautilus Support

Now I am unmotivated to retype everything that I had typed in a post that was having trouble. le sigh

The keystone for support has typically been Courage of the Colossus. In a recent game I decided to do Stoneborn Pact to help sustain my allies with my wide array of cc. It was for a game last night that a Kalista and I dominated an Ez and Blitz. I was hoping to gather the opinions of the community on which they believe the better Keystone would be for this champion. I plan on continuing to try Stoneborn for a few different games just to properly gauge the results.

Before anyone says go to this site and check that this obviously has a better percentage. I did. It is unfair to compare the one that has a 50 some win rate with 1500+ games to the one that has 69% win rate with 25+ games.

I tried having a poll but it didn't seem to work.

It really depends on what you want. Courage gives a nice sheild whilst stoneborn give your allies a liitle bit of healing.

This is why I asked your opinion. Which do you prefer? If it remains constant I like Stoneborn due to increasing my health which buffs other parts of my kit.

Honestly, I think both are equally good on him. IMO the choice should be driven by your lane partner/ team comp and drives a focus on late team fighting in CotC or winning lane with Stoneborn. No point in taking Stoneborn if you have to scale an Ezreal or Kog, but it could win you a lv.2 all in with Draven or Lucian.

Fair. I don't think it has as much synergy with Leona as it does with Naut. Leona gets more tank with her w with armor and mr. Naut does more damage and better shield with health. He also effectively has 4 cc between AA, Q, E and R. It wouldn't be bad, but it is more spammable with Naut.

coc gives better diving potential early to mid game while stoneborn will give better sustain during extended trades and team fights since your e can apply it very well along with the 5% bonus hp to buff your w but it's up to you

I like CoC since you'll usually be against mage supports, it'll help vs the poke especially when backing off. But if you have an immobile adc like kogmaw or you don't plan on trading early and want a stronger late game, definitely stoneborn

For me they're both great but basically depends on what the enemy team is running (the opposing duo lane as well as the whole team in general). If they're mostly burst damage I think CotC is better to help mitigate that burst, if they're more sustained damage / healing based then Stoneborne because it gives your team a bigger advantage in a longer fight.

Now, something I find interesting is the two sides we are getting with the lane benefits of both Keystones. I am seeing both being flipped in the regards some say early game while others say late game. Obviously they both scale based on health. One just helps mitigate burst as someone mentioned and the other could potentially work like a Ali passive heal or Taric Q.

I am loving the input and ideas that is being presented. Some of these I didn't even factor when considering it. Thank you.
