I am so disgusted with the league community. In the past 3 RANKED games I have played I have had a Thresh ADC, Twitch support, and a Cait support. Each and everyone of these players were toxic and blamed the loss on the rest of the team. I truly did used to have fun playing the game. I just don't anymore, only because of these type of people. There needs to be more done with Riot to ban the stupid ***holes permanently from this game. I have a deep love for this game for this game, I truly do. Ranked is so fun and can be so rewarding. But it seems I cannot get into a game without someone flaming just because they didn't get their role or some other nonsense. I have an idea that could help this monstrosity of a problem. I think that before a summoner is able to play ranked, they have to complete a set number of games as each role. And in those "prelim" games, the summoners would be forced to chose a champion that actually is viable in that role (no Twitch supports). That way no one can go into a game saying, "I can't support" or "Mid or feed". And if someone does troll, there should be a way for the game to be reviewed and see if a loss of LP should be applied if requested by multiple people of the same lobby. Which brings me to another point, don't make a team lose LP if someone afk'd the entire game, but that's for a different rant. Please Riot, do something. I want to have fun playing this amazing game again.

get out of silver 5- you have to deal with less bads.

The problem is that most players are in Silver, people shouldn't play ranked if they don't know how to play every role and they should be comfortable with every role, that would make there be less bads in Silver, you feel?

There will always be trolls and people who flame others, it's just a reality you can't get away from. The best that can be done is reporting these kinds of players so you don't have to play with them again. There's a tribunal system in place that works, believe it or not. As for these 'prelim' games, it's a horrible idea. Even assuming these players did grind through these requisites, that won't stop them from being toxic. Also, playing a few games on a particular role isn't nearly enough time to become efficient at it (not to mention support is a very nuanced role, it takes time to be good at). Lastly, a 'viable' support is can be virtually any champion.

I just think something needs to be done. Its to a point where about 75% of the games I play are filled with these kind of people. The reporting system is not enough. I may have just been ranting and throwing out ideas, but something more really does need to be done with how horrible this community is.

As I said, it's just how things are. There's always going to be tryhards, trolls, people who flame others, and so on. That's the reality you have to accept playing a game that's as popular as LoL. As a way to amend this problem, you yourself could play the role these people seemingly refuse to play? It would defuse the tension as well as lessen the possibility of them trolling/flaming. It's the easiest way to deal with things. If they still are negative with the team then collectively report them.

A lot of pro players are meh at 1-2 roles, and then main 2-3 roles, with a list of champs for each. What is viable as supp/carry also heavily depends on whos playing and what the team comp is. Thresh adc for example is a weak early game, in exchange for building souls up to be tanky and damaging late game, like using Devourer or playing Veigar/ryze/noxus tanky. Jayce can be a good supp, but would you call him a supp choice? Also, there is a lvl30 req for it. If they don't know every role by then its because they aren't going to do those roles anyway. Riot barely started the heavier penalties. They are doing something. Give it a chance to see how it goes.

People just need to have a grasp, even the slightest, on every role before playing ranked, even if they don't like it. It's ranked. That's all I want to get across here.

Jungle Evelynn isn't that bad if you ignore the wraith camp and just non stop gank lanes for the XP and gold you need. That's how I jungle Skarner now, I take the wolf camp after blue/gromp(Big wraith?) And then just non stop lane to lane ganks to keep up XP and to get gold. I use smite to steal the cannon minion if I blow a summoners or if I kill the enemy laner then I'll take 2-3 more little minions after that and move along. It actually works very well.

Note I have not tried the above strategy on Evelynn, tho I have done things similar in the past I have not tried to sustain her off just ganks alone.

jungle eveyln is solid. like most champs she has to b after 3 camps and buy the AOE smite then ur fine

Run stalker's with devourer and make sure to pick up lifesteal early, ad/hybrid eve is really good after first clear. You can do all camps once you get couple stacks of devourer(now that's it back nerfed ff status.) Ap eve just doesn't cut it in the jungle because you go oom now that blue buff is so short and speed is everything.

I definitely feel you on this. I haven't even started playing ranked (I'm level 24 btw) and I understand what you are saying. I only play team builder because blind pick is so fucking toxic. I can only play 2 roles well Mid and ADC bot. I can play top but not well as I usually lose so i don't like playing it.

Lane calling is so fucking stupid and you have people who don't even care what you call they will feed if they don't get the lane they want. And you have people who bring their friends and want to go bot together but support was called so now they want to troll if they don't get their way.

This game will make me quit if nothing is done.
