What Ever Happened To The FIELDS OF JUSTICE? (Something for Riot devs to consider).

OK. I wasn't sure if this belonged in the Gameplay section but it's definitely an in gameplay situation. Here goes nothing. And before you throw tomatoes, please hear me out. I know it's been mentioned by players time and time again that there should be some sort of system.. and maybe its getting old. I am just looking into the best interests for players who just want to have a good expereince. After reading this, maybe you will sympathize from my point of view even if you are not for/against it.

LETS GIVE THE PLAYERS WHO WANT TO STAND UP TO BULLIES A WAY TO SHOW A DEFENSE THAT DOESN'T INVOLVE LASHING OUT AND GETTING REPORTED IN RETURN. I want to feel like I can do something good instead of feeling bad the whole game because I couldn't do any thing to show that evil doer any law laying.

Once again. I am only looking into the best interests of players who want to have a good expereince. I want to protect these people from feeling like I do and possibly getting reported for sharing thoughts to a bad a person.

Its like having someone walk into your home and having them mutilate your family and all you're allowed to do is report them/mute them otherwise if you do any harm to them you also get in trouble. I know its not that extreme and that words can be held back in chat. BUT YOU FEEL LIKE SHIT AND LIKE YOU COULDN'T DO ANY THING AFTERWARDS FOR THE NEXT 20 MINUTES OR THE WHOLE 1+ HOUR.

After a long stressful game I would be revitalized to know that I got something out of it just as I would with recieving no honor and just a full team honor bonus after a great game with a great team.

Here are some past comments I posted that brought up this idea.

  1. People using hateful slurs and verbally offensive words should be immediately chat restricted for the rest of the game or for a little while, at least. Like how twitch chat bots work. They track that shit like a baws. Multiple game chat restriction penalty can come after player report.

  2. Of course you can't have almost every word. We'll leave those to the player reports for riot to decide if they were harassing the team or not.

How ever.. Any thing that is severely offensive (and can be automatically detected when reported ) to races, physically disordered, mentally disabled, gay sexuality, linear sexuality, trans gender sexuality, bi sexuality, the female being, the male being, ones culture or life style, religion or nation should certaintly be included. Hope I didn't miss any thing.

  1. OK. Just allchat then. Let the team mates decide their team chat behavior. Or an internal game voting system that appears when someone says something really really really bad. Even a 5 man can have fun with that by having their mate muted for a few for a laugh. If 3-4 players who did not queue up with that person all vote then that person will be muted for a time frame. Time frame escalates for every punnish by +5 minutes. If not then those who voted will have a full chat/ping/emote mute enforced if the team does not fully agree so they at least have some form of satisfactory.

  2. I thought the maps we play on were referred to as Fields of Justice. What ever happened to that? Its named Fields of Justice but there really isn't any justice on the field. More like Fields of Slaying and Flaming. People just get away with things freely in the game and people have to put up with that till the dragged on match is over. I feel like there should be some form of justice on the field (in the match) so people can relax more knowing that someone was deservingly punnished. If you think about it, this could go a long way for people. They wouldn't be irked or provoked to speak out or lose self control over some player ruining their expereince. If the system in the current match detected that a player said something very very wrong then I would feel very happy and proud to know that I could be a part of some form of justice to put the cuffs on some players who abuse their in game freedome before taking several warnings/penalities. Should in game players just feel like they can't do any thing and feel like they're getting walked over/taunted even after muting? Deep inside you know some players can't hold back against some certain un tolerating players. I'd rather have this than feel bad all game because I know I can't lash out and share my feelings because I'll just be reported in return.

As for the technical difficulties. That's what devs are for. I'm sure they can figure something out. They've got a giant dictionary of choices to use for a high degree of zero tolerance for an automatic/voting mute system.

There's no need to worry about cool downs as long as the player keeps recieving an upwards inclination of time added to their in game chat punnishment. And I doubt most people would be assanine enough to keep repeating the process only to be muted longer than the game is going on.
